The overall aim of this WP is to investigate the use of E-Gov services among older adults in Italy, focusing on micro-level factors (e.g., gender) and macro-level factors (e.g., the quality of digital public services) that influence digital inclusion and exclusion

The study builds on the work conducted within Research Stream 3 of the previous project, Digital by Default (2023–2025) and analyses ISTAT data from the 2023 special module on E-Gov of Aspetti della vita quotidiana, together with ISTAT data covering the 2013–2024 period and contextual data at the regional level, including internet connection quality. The data will be analysed using Multilevel Analysis of Individual Heterogeneity and Discriminatory Accuracy (MAIHDA).
